Our Golden Retriever has the bad (and disgusting) habit to look for "treats" in our cats' litter box. We do not have much room in our house to be creative as where to hide the litter box or install a gate, etc. After looking for a while, I found the Doggone litter block and ordered it right away. It works! It's sturdy and fits the litter box nicely. Our cats (both 4.5 years old) don't mind having to walk through the small tunnel (and they seem to like the added privacy...) and, the best part of it all: the dog cannot reach in the box anymore. Highly recommended.

Great idea, great concept, great customer service. Package came within 3 days. Unfortunately for me, my 8 year old cat was so freaked by the new entrance fitting he started urinating elsewhere. I have a 7 month old lab puppy who just recently discovered the cat box, hence me trying this device. I think the main problem was the size. My cat is small for a Maine Coon but large for a domestic weighing in at 11 lbs. It was just too tight a fit for him to comfortably slip in and out. I really had high hopes for this, and I think it would work well if you started them with it from a kitten or had a teeny tiny cat. Great idea, I wish it had worked better for me, in the mean time, I'm still looking for a solution.
