I purchased 2 other items before buying this one. The first 2 failed to deter my dog from barking. Both of the first 2 items were humane ultrasonic devices. As a last resort, I bought this item and it has solved all my problems. My dog is finally learning to behave. She has stopped chewing items she should not. She has stopped jumping on children. She has stopped barking excessively. I issue the sound immediately before the shock. This way she knows she is doing something wrong and that she's about to be punished. Now the sound is enough to make her think twice about what she's going to do. For minor infractions I just issue the sound and she backs away from what she was contemplating.
My only complaint is that the range is not as great as listed. The packaging says 75 yards and from what I've experienced it is more like 75 feet, but that is a small flaw that I can overlook after having solved the greater behavioral problems.

This product is amazing. My dog was really stuborn and impossible to walk off leach, but now, when she has the collar on she answers to every commands. The collar does not hurt, I tried it on myself, but the disconfort when you shock is enough to make the dog understand that the behaviour is unacceptable. I love the option of the bip only since this was rapidely enough to correct the behavior and I no longer need (most of the time)to use the shock. The batteries last for a long time and are cheap enough. Overall a great product that allows me to make my dog a lot happier since I can now trust her to come back to me in case I need her to.

This Product does not work at all. We have contacted Garage Sales several times they have not answered I would recommend not buying from them.
