I spent 5 hours the day before yesterday looking for an air-tight dog food container. Since I use three different kinds of food, schlepping the big bags around every day (twice) has been a pain. Pet stores (online and brick & mortar) have containers, but they cost a fortune $40-50 up to over $100 a piece, for this size and this quality. Are they kidding us? I didn't check Target, but Walmart had nothing like it - not even close. I bought two here at Amazon. Standard shipping was FREE. Let me repeat that: FREE shipping. FedEx just delivered them, only 2 days after I ordered them. Quality is decent and putting on the coasters was a cinch: just tap them into the holes at the corners of the bottom. I taped the dog food bag labels on the side and rolled them out of the way. The containers easily take 50 lbs of dog kibble. These containers are exactly for what I was looking. Perfect!

I love this container for dog food - have been looking for one of these and this one is perfect! You could easily pour a 55lb bag of dog food in this, but I just slide the whole bag in and it fits with room to spare. I left the wheels off because I dont ever need to roll the container. It is air tight to keep the food fresh and any bugs out, yet easily opens with a one-handed flip of the latch. The material is sturdy, including the lid, but I would not "drop" the bag of food in especially if you have the wheels attached as I can imagine that kind of sudden impact on the bottom might damage it. The sides are not see-through which doesnt matter since I can easily check on the food level when I feed my dog every day. I am brain storming to think of other uses for these containers and now looking at some of the smaller sizes for other uses too! Love it!

This container works wonderfully for our needs. We are buying 50 lb. bags of popcorn from Sams. This is larger than we needed. Wider than I thought but is stable to roll around.

No problems with it so far. We've had it for a month. We Put 40lbs of loose food in it. Easy access for us
but has not attracted ants or anything. It seems air-tight (it has a gasket). Just dont throw it around
or put undue pressure on it.. it's just plastic for jimminy sakes!

I love these containers! I keep dog food in them in the garage and they are perfect. The rollers make them easy to move around and they seal to keep the food fresh and critters out.
