I got this vest because I was concerned about my wife walking our black standard poodle at dusk and after dark. The large fits him perfectly- he weighs about 65-70 lbs.
Several people have stopped my wife to let her know how well this vest reflects.
She has also noticed that cars give them a much wider berth because of this highly visible vest. Very pleased with this item.

Extremely visible vest, light-weight so it doesn't get in the way of playing, and goes on easily once you figure out the best way to put it on. It's the best and most visible vest I've ever used and I've been looking for the right one for a few years. I highly recommend this vest over any other I've seen or tried. I always have other dog owners ask me where I got them when they see my dogs and I walking with them on. Oh, and it's a hoot if you play ball with them in the dark with a head lamp on...all you see are the vests running around. lol! The large fit both my standard poodle and labrador mix dogs.

The VizVest Dog Safetyvest is perfect, coz it is easy to handle. The Dog have no handicap by wearing this Safety Vest. It fits perfect and made our Dog much more visible at the night or in twilights.

I purchased the Large Reflective Dog Vest for my Golden Retriever for our walks. We walk twice a day - mornings are always dark and I noticed I traveled the same route as the newspaper delivery guy - I got tired of his brights.
This vest has made a world of difference and my dog LOVES to wear it! No longer do I get high-beams shined in my lights but a gentle swerve around me. And for my afternoon walks, it actually causes drivers to slow down and go slightly out of there way. My husband says it's because they're thinking she's a seeing eye dog.
The only negative I had about the vest was that, while I like puzzles, the directions to put the vest on were not the best. The inside should be marked "A" "B" "C" "D" and coordinated on the instructions - but if you remember to put the TAG part against the belly, it made a world of difference.
I sincerely recommend this product - it will last a long time.

This vest glows brightly when headlights hit it. The down side is that it has a very small reflective surface on the chest. I recommend you add a Petsport Bling Bling Blinker to your dog's collar to increase visibility for oncoming vehicles.
This vest's greatest visibility is from the side as you cross intersections. Also, I have the dog wear it during the day for runs too. The yellow portion reflects the sun for greater daytime visibility. It is also very easy to get this on and off the dog.
My dog is a 65 pound lab/plott hound with deep chest and tiny waist. The large vest fits him well. Long velcro strips allow plenty of adjustment either way.
I personally wear a High Visibility Orange Safety Vest to increase my visibility.
I bike my dog instead of walking him. I added the Planet Bike Beamer 3 LED Bicycle Light and the Planet Bike Blinky "7" 7-Led Rear Bicycle Light to my bike for even more visibility.
We go down the road glowing and flashing like a Christmas tree.
