I ordered lots of these, gave some away as Christmas Stocking for pets. They are loved by every dog! I have two miniature American Eskimos and thought one piece would be too big for them - what a joke! I gave each one a full stick of this great treat and within 10 minutes they were done. This is not a treat for the dog to linger over - they eat and look up at you wondering when the next one will be given to them! What a great item!

my dog is extremely picky - and spoiled rotten! Of all the hundreds of different types of treats, including jerky, rawhides, chic strips, etc.etc. i have given him for the last 9 years of his life - this Texas taffy is the only treat he begs for everyday! I wish it would last longer though because they are kinda pricey but maybe with a smaller dog it would last more than 5 minutes I would think. My moose is a Newfoundland mix, so the taffy stick lasts him about 30 seconds. But it keeps him happy and content so all is well.

I have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks that will do absolutely anything for a Texas Taffy. I was buying them through petfooddirect.com until the price went way up. I checked Amazon and was very excited to see the price was much lower. These treats are great hole or sometimes I even use kitchen scissors to cut them in half because they are a really good size.

I have two Shih Tzus and one Lhasa Apso, all of whom adore these treats. I pay $1.58 per piece, so it's $5.00 every time I want to treat them, but once in a while it's worth it. The other reviewer who said she gets "10 minutes of peace" is exactly right. I can feed my cat if the dogs have been given one of these without fear that they will eat her canned food!
Definitely worth the price, but if they get much more expensive we won't be buying them any longer.
