Our dog,Cleo, was terminally ill. Pill Pockets enabled her to take her medications in a pleasant and regular manner. She died one week ago-Pill Pockets provided us with a full additional year of friendship and presence-we are very pleased and grateful.

Pill pockets are wonderful for giving dogs their daily medicines, especially distasteful ones. I have tried everything from cheese and meat to coating pills with soft dog treats, but pill pockets are the best! They are flexible and easy to get around a pill. I buy the large ones and can use one pill pocket to coat the medications for 4 dogs. And my dogs love them and don't know they are getting pills or medications at all. If your dog is finicky, then give a tiny piece of pill pocket, followed quickly by the coated pill, followed by a tiny piece of pill pocket, along with excited treat comments, and the dog will just swallow and not chew, thus not knowing they just took their pill. Great for old dogs on daily distasteful glucosamine pills.

Forget on-time delivery, the product came early. Once opened, it was fresh and intact. There were very few broken pockets, as sometimes happens. Very satisfied.

These make fighting with the dog over taking daily capsules much better. He loves the taste and he has no idea there is medicine inside. Much cheaper than buying single packages of this item locally.

I have a lab and sheppard/collie mix both on daily medications. These are by far the easiest way to get them to take their pills. I use the large size and break them in half for each dog. You can smush the pill pocket around the pill so they can't find the pill and spit it out. I also think it's much less expensive to buy them on Amazon in bult...they run $10 a bag in my area. Both of my dogs think they are treats!
